Wouldn’t it be great if rather than offering advice or “helpful tips,” people would occasionally say, “You’re doing a terrific job”?
Because you are.
It’s so easy to be critical or share your “opinion” of how someone could improve themselves.
But most people are doing the best they can. Everyone is just trying to get along and make it through their day.
So next time you have the opportunity to offer a critique or a helpful pointer, be magnanimous and tell someone that you think they’re doing just fine.
Then sit back and watch the smile spread across their face.
