I am so thrilled to have you in my life, not just as a cousin, but as the amazing friend that you’ve become!
I remember when we were kids and I’d come to visit for the summer. Even though you were a couple of years younger than me (although I’m not quite sure how that works, because now you’re older than me), we always hung around together.
You had a quiet inquisitiveness that you still have today, like when I got braces and you asked if you could touch them. It was like this weird bonding moment, when I smiled a big cheesy smile so you could touch my braces.
Then there was the time that I drove away and left you and my sister, Melanie, at the self-serve car wash to walk home because you wouldn’t stop squirting me with the hose. Good times.
So many good memories and hopefully years and years ahead to create more happy and funny memories!
You are a fantastic woman and I wish you many more happy, healthy returns!
