Did you ever meet someone who was perfectly beautiful or handsome, but as you got to know them, their beauty faded because they just weren’t a decent person?
Conversely, I’m sure that you’ve met someone who was pretty average in the looks department, but who glowed with their inner beauty and became more and more beautiful as you got to know the amazing person inside.
So often we focus on our flaws and superficial beauty – or the lack thereof. But true beauty comes from within. From kindness, from generosity, or from a ridiculous sense of humor.
What could be more beautiful than someone who opens their heart to others? And what could possibly be more fun than laughing hysterically with someone over a silly joke?
These are the gestures that people will remember over a lifetime, even as one’s physical beauty may begin to fade.
We all have flaws. We all have physical imperfections. Even the most beautiful among us. But each of us also has an amazing inner beauty that we can share with the world.
Accept your flaws. Love your imperfections and let your true beauty come shining through.
